The Longford Engine is a warm and friendly pub, with recently refurbished bar, diner and live music areas. We offer accommodation, good food, guest ales, live sports (on our 3 large screens) and a relaxing atmosphere where you can drop in anytime for a couple of pints (or whatever your tipple is), in the summer our light conservatory and canalside patio is an ideal place to sit and relax with a drink or 2 just watching the world go by.On Sundays we have our quiz night, with a prize for the winner of free beer plus the chance to win our jackpot cash prize in "Play your cards right". The Engine is also a place that is striving to promote live music in Coventry, we have live bands every Friday night with music ranging from indie, rock and blues.                           

Since the 1st of July 2007 along with the rest of the nation The Engine has become a non smoking pub, smoking is not allowed within the premises, how ever as you can see in the above pictures we have refurbished our patio area and added a new state of the art electric canopy, new lighting and heaters for the comfort of our smoking and non smoking patrons. 



 

The Engine is a football friendly pub and is just a 10 minute walk from the Ricoh Arena, plus we also provide FREE matchday parking for a limited amount of cars, so why not pop in for a pint or a bite to eat on your way to or from the Ricoh
